In memory of Captain Benjamin Sklaver. I went through Civil Affairs mobilization qualification course with this guy. I remember working out with him at Golds Gym. I never knew he had left such a mark, with founding an organization that delivers clean water to humanitarian emergencies in places like Uganada.

Soldiers' Amazing Race:

I ran my first Army Ten Miler this weekend. It was really fun and upbeat race, and I would suggest to anyone that it is worth flying out to DC to do. The scene was beautiful, running by the various historical sites and monuments. What was so motivating and touching for me was seeing the amputees, and the injured veterans running along side. No, matter what happens in life we can always run the race as if to receive the prize.
